Terms of Service

1. About these terms

These terms apply when you book driving lessons or car hire for test with Drive City Driving School Ltd ("we", "us", "our"). By making a booking you agree to these terms.

2. Bookings & payment

All bookings are made through our online booking page and are confirmed once payment is received. Prices are as listed at the time of booking and include tuition in a fully insured, dual-control vehicle.

3. Cancellations & rescheduling

We ask for at least 48 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule a lesson. Lessons cancelled with less than 48 hours' notice may be charged in full. If we need to cancel (for example due to illness or vehicle issues), we will offer a rearranged lesson or a full refund.

4. Your responsibilities

You must hold a valid UK provisional (or full, where applicable) driving licence and bring it to your first lesson. You must be fit to drive — not under the influence of alcohol or drugs, and with eyesight that meets the legal standard. We may refuse a lesson without refund if these requirements are not met.

5. Car hire for driving test

Test-day car hire is subject to instructor approval that you are test-ready, and to availability around your test time. The hire includes use of the school car for the practical test and a short warm-up session beforehand, as arranged with your instructor.

6. Punctuality

Please be ready at your agreed pickup point at the scheduled time. If you are late, the lesson will still finish at the scheduled end time. If we are delayed, we will make up the missed time where possible.

7. Liability

Our vehicles are fully insured for tuition purposes. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or any liability that cannot be excluded by law.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms occasionally. The version published on this page at the time of your booking applies to that booking.
